Forum / Champions Board Meeting, February 2006
The first Forum of the SouthCentral Girls Collaborative was held on Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at University of North Texas Union, Denton Texas. Twenty-six Collaborative members attended the Forum. Three facilitators from the Collaborative Work Systems Design Group provided a highly interactive, informative, and productive session(PDF)
After an introduction to collaboration, the facilitators led a Ring and String activity, a practice exercise in working as a group. The insights gathered from working together on this activity can be found here. We also discussed what each organization is doing currently, especially how they are collaborating with other organizations. Key insights from that discussion are found here. We ended the Forum by listing some next steps.
