As I observe technology training around the state and in other states, I see a tremendous emphasis toward "ramping up" teachers through basic instruction. This seems to be accompanied by skill assessment strategies and recording of competencies. I wonder if this is the best we can do. I see little training where teachers are actually immersed in teacher-related work using technology. It seems to me that as long as technology is viewed as supplemental to instruction...that technology use will always be supplemental except for the early adopters within districts. How can we reframe training to bring in the middle level users? Keith?
