Dr. Martha Peet is TCET’s Director and the manager of TCET’s Technology Evaluation Division and the SouthCentral Girls Collaborative. As coordinator for the Evaluation Division, she oversees the evaluation of various state- and federally-funded grants. The SouthCentral Girls Collaborative, a National Science Foundation initiative, facilitates collaboration among organizations that attempt to keep girls in science, technology, engineering, and math. This Collaborative, serving a five-state region, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, provides a listing of organizations in the region, face-to-face conferences, and mini-grants for collaborative activities. Another initiative of TCET is Insight, an instrument library and data repository. Through Insight, Dr. Peet serves the region by providing administrations and reports on survey instruments to assess teacher attitudes, beliefs, and skills in technology.
