E-Teach Preparing Today's Teachers Using Tomorrow's Technology ESC 13 TIE Project Evaluation |
As a participant in project E-Teach, you completed three pre-assessment instruments in October 2000. Please complete a post-assessment using two of the same instruments provided below. Both post-assessments need not be completed in the same sitting.
Click the link below to begin taking the Learning with Technology Profile Tool post-assessment.
1. Learning with Technology Profile Tool * (will take approximately 30 minutes)
Directions for the Learning with Technology Profile Tool:
1. Follow the onscreen instructions.When the Learning with Technology Profile Tool post-assessment is complete, please continue the post-assessment process with the HPR*TEC Profiler. After reading the HPR*TEC Profiler instructions below, click the link to begin.
When you completed the pre-assessment in October, you were assigned a PIN number. You will need this PIN number to complete the HPR*TEC Profiler post-assessment. If you do not remember this PIN number, contact Shaunda Guthrie via email at Shaunda.Guthrie@esc13.txed or via phone at 866-438-3224 (toll free) or 512-919-5228.
2. HPR*TEC Profiler Technology Applications Skills * (will take approximately 20-30 minutes).
Directions for the HPR*TEC Profiler:
1. In the left column, beneath the box that reads, "Take a Shortcut!" key in your last name and your pin number.
2. Click on the "Log On" button.
3. Choose "Technology Applications Skills" from drop-down list and click "Take Survey" button.
4. Read the key describing the 1-4 responses and complete the survey.
5. You will be able to view your results immediately.If you did NOT complete the pre-assessment tests, you will need to follow these steps:
Directions for the HPR*TEC Profiler:
1. In the left column, choose "Create new account"
2. In the "To Register Yourself" column, type in texas13.
3. Fill in your name, phone and email.
In the building drop-down list, choose your school district (not Administration).
4. Write down your login name and PIN.
You will receive an email with the information. Save the email for the post test.
5. Click on the "Proceed to surveys" button.
6. Choose "Technology Applications Skills" from drop-down list and click "Take Survey" button.
7. Read the key describing the 1-4 responses and complete the survey.
8.You will be able to view your results immediately.
