Virtual Assistive Technology University Seven courses on assistive technology, such as web accessibility and universally designed instruction, leading to an Assistive Technology Certificate Offered in collaboration between the Spurwink Institute and the University of Southern Maine, an NCATE-accredited institution Each course lasts 7 weeks and includes 14 sessions Participate in electronic discussions with colleagues and the instructors, online readings and reactions, interactive projects with a selected course participant or group of participants, and application of assistive technology tools and strategies to your local school or district Each course is $632 for three academic credits or $500 for 4.5 continuing education credits.
