References to the use of technology to meet content area expectations
are found throughout the Texas curriculum. This section features direct
mention of the use of technology (or related terminology) within the
Foundation areas (Language Arts & Reading, Mathematics, Science, and
Social Studies). The section also features examples of ways to make
connections between content area student expectations and technology.

- Curriculum Connections Planning Tools

A set of Curriculum Connection Planning Tools
(one for each grade cluster) has been sent to each campus in
the state. Copies of the posters are available in PDF
format. These documents can be viewed on-line using Adobe
Acrobat Reader. When printing the large versions, use the
"shrink to fit" or "fit to page" feature
in the print dialog box. Grades 3-5 (22"x26")

assist educators using the Curriculum Connections Planning
Tools. Quick reference sheets are designed to expand the
brief notations for the student expectations listed on the
Planning Tools. Quick Reference Sheets are in PDF format to
allow educators to print grade level sheets as needed.
