Curriculum Connections

Curriculum Connections are pages designed to show connections between the Foundation areas and Technology Applications. Two types of connections are featured. One set of connections (Direct TEKS Connections) are English Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies student expectations that directly mention the use of technology (or related terminology). Another set of connections demonstrate that additional connections are possible that use technology to teach the Foundation areas. We encourage teachers to move beyond the direct mention of technology to make their own connections. Indirect TEKS Connections illustrate one Foundation area student expectation that does not specifically mention technology but is easily accomplished with technology.
