machine language A fundamental, complex computer language used by the computer itself to perform its functions. This language is quite difficult for the average person to read or write.

MIDI musical instrument digital interface Industry-standard connection for digital control of musical instruments and related devices. MM 8I
modeling and simulation In computing a technique by which a system is represented as a mathematical model. The model is then programmed on a computer so that the behavior of the original system may be studied. Mathematical models usually represent a simplified form of reality and are often used for prediction. CS1 10B

morphing Used to create exciting visuals and special effects in movies. A film image is scanned into the computer then changed by a graphics artist. This image is sometimes combined with images created on the computer and then integrated into a film clip to make effects that look real. DGA 3B

non-linear projects Technology Applications presentations can be linear or non-linear. Non-linear allows the presenter to move from one point in a presentation to any other point and continue in this manner until the end of the presentation.
