TA CED News - This section provides the user with news about the CED on the
front page. Clicking on the news will take the user to in-depth information on the
displayed news item. News items will rotate, allowing the user to view a news item
multiple times.
Major Resource Sections - This collection of links contains the resources of the
CED categorized into 6 major sections. These links are the major section heading used
throughout the site.
Links to Educational Resources - This area has links to major educational
support institutions in the state of Texas
Title Banner - The Title Banner identifies the category of the current
page. (See Major Resource Sections)
Primary Internal Navigation (Tab Set) - The Tab Set provides quick
navigation to the major categories of the current section. In the example below, the Tab
Set contains a link to all Technology Applications High School courses.
Secondary Internal Navigation (Dropdown) - The Dropdown menu provides
navigation within the current category. In the example below, the Dropdown contains a
links to all Computer Science resources.
Navigation Banner - The Navigation Banner allows the user to quickly move
around to six major sections of the site. It also includes links to the main page of the
CED and to TCET's homepage.
