Acceptable Use
The intent of the Technology Applications Center for Educator Development web site's Acceptable Use Policy is to ensure that all uses of the web site are consistent with the purposes of the Texas Education Agency. The policy does not attempt to detail all required behavior by users and individual judgment of appropriate conduct is essential for appropriate use of the site. The following general guidelines are offered:
  1. Use of the Technology Applications Center for Educator Development web site for illegal purposes, or in support of illegal activities, is prohibited.
  2. Use of the Technology Applications Center for Educator Development web site must be in support of education and research and consistent with the purposes of the Texas Education Agency.
  3. Use of the Technology Applications Center for Educator Development web site for commercial purposes is prohibited.
  4. Use of the Technology Applications Center for Educator Development web site for product advertisement or political lobbying is prohibited.
  5. No use of the Technology Applications Center for Educator Development web site shall serve to disrupt the use of the network by other users.
